For families of children and adults with special needs

Get your child’s care out of the binder.

Upload an IEP or therapy report and SpecialMe pulls out what your child is working on. Keep medications, appointments and goals in one place, and share only what you choose with the people who help.

Launching soon. We are looking for a small group of families to try the first version and tell us what to fix. Nothing here is final.

Example IEP page

By March, Maya will ask an adult for help using a full sentence in 4 of 5 tries.

Speech-language therapy, 30 minutes, twice a week.

Maya will zip and button her jacket with no more than one prompt.

The problem

Care for a child with special needs runs on paperwork.

Reports arrive as scanned PDFs that nobody can search.

Every new provider asks you to tell the whole story again.

Deadlines, doses and appointments live in five different places.

Sharing with grandparents or a teacher means forwarding everything or nothing.

How it works

Three steps from paper to a plan you can use.

  1. Upload

Add an IEP, an evaluation, or an OT, PT or speech report. Scans and photos are fine.

  2. Review

SpecialMe suggests goals, services and dates. You check each one and fix anything that is off.

  3. Share

Invite family, teachers and therapists. You pick which sections each person can see, and you can remove them any time.

What we are building

One place for the whole picture.

Planned for launch

The first version focuses on these.

Document reading
Pulls goals, services and dates out of IEPs and reports.
Progress tracking
Log how independent your child was on each goal over time.
Medications
Doses, times and refill warnings, checked off as given.
Appointments and tasks
One schedule with overlap warnings.
Sharing and messages
Per-section access for the people who help.

Coming after launch

On the list, with no dates yet.

Google Calendar sync
With generic event titles, so no details leave the app.
Form help
Pre-fills the forms schools and therapists send, using answers you have already given. You review everything before it goes anywhere.
Comparing IEPs
See what changed between this year’s plan and last year’s.
Phone reminders
Push notifications for doses and appointments.

Who it is for

Children now, and adults who still need the same support.

Children with IEPs

Each child gets a profile with school goals, therapy reports, medications and a care team. Siblings get their own profiles.

Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Families and caregivers share medications, schedules and appointments, with consent and legal authority recorded for each adult.

Privacy

Your child’s records are not our business model.

AI reads your documents to suggest what goes in your child’s profile. It can make mistakes, which is why you review every item.

Questions

Before you sign up.

Is SpecialMe available now?

No. We are building it and collecting families for the first trial. Joining the trial list is free and does not commit you to anything.

What do trial families get?

Early access, and a say in what we build. We will share any early pricing by email before anyone is asked to pay.

What will it cost?

Pricing is not final. It will be a simple yearly or monthly plan per person, and invited family, teachers and therapists will be able to view for free.

Which documents does it read?

IEPs, evaluations, and OT, PT and speech reports, including scans. You always review what it finds before it is saved.

Is it only for children?

No. Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities will get their own profiles for medications, schedules and appointments.

Is this medical or legal advice?

No. SpecialMe helps you organize information and understand documents. It does not replace your child’s doctors, therapists, school team or an advocate.

Trial and demo

Help us test the first version.

Tell us you are interested and we will email you when the trial opens, and about a demo if you would like one. Joining is free and does not commit you to anything.

Please do not put any health or school details about your child in this form. We only collect your email, first name and the type of person you are.
